Oxlade

A minimalist approach reinstated the modernist character of this 1969 apartment and created a home suited to the Brisbane climate and clients’ contemporary lifestyle. Removing layers of adornment and non-structural walls integrated the kitchen, dining and living rooms and enclosed balcony into one comfortable, spacious room open to the outdoors.

The kitchen design allows the clients to entertain from two to twenty people, and the host can cook and dance (you read that right) on the steel-reinforced concrete dining table.
